New Media+Architecture Studio Cumulative Project: Conceptualize a new campus building for Miami University to serve students and provide a home for new media technologies, as well as several academic departments such as Interactive Media Studies and Computer Science.
The design solution for the Miami University Student Innovation Center seeks to combine a modern, technology-oriented space with the overwhelmingly Georgian red brick architecture of Miami University’s campus. The circulation path is designed to draw students through a stepped outdoor garden space down into the spacious interior atrium, from which it is made apparent that the building is a thriving technological community.
